Thinkers, leaders, and experts team up to redefine the future of business, technology, and humanity: Way2Global — a key player at the event thanks to its multi-lingual services.

On September 27 and 28th — at the Stella Polare [North Star] Conference Center in Rho — the inaugural Italian edition of SingularityU International Summit was held. These events are organized throughout the world with the goal of empowering local leaders to use exponential technologies to make positive change in their country.

Singularity University is a global innovation and culture community that views the application of exponential technologies as a necessary tool to face the great challenges that lie ahead and to improve the wellbeing of humankind.

Over the course of two days, a number of big international names hit the stage, including Ramez Naam, an IT professional formerly with Microsoft who currently studies how to provide a response to climate change through innovative technology; David Orban, an instructor with Singularity University who is focused on tackling the challenges of globalization; and David Roberts, one of the leading international experts on disruptive innovation and exponential technologies; as well as many other leading industry figures.

There were a number of Italian guests as well, including Paolo Di Cesare, co-founder of Nativa, the first business in Europe to be classified as a Benefit Corporation and Certified B-Corp, and Oscar Di Montigny, an expert in Innovative Marketing and creator and “evangelist” of the principles of “Economy 0.0.”

Within this framework, Way2Global fit perfectly into its role as linguistic partner — thanks to its focus on pioneering technology and its passion for disruptive innovation. The multi-lingual interpreting services it provided brought international verve to the event. They made it possible to welcome speakers from across the world, allowing all participants to access content on issues both delicate and complex, such as those involving technological evolution.

“We find ourselves in a unique, perhaps never-to-be-repeated, time in the history of mankind,” notes Laura Gori, CEO & Owner of Way2Global. “The great potential and the powerful acceleration offered by technological innovation vest us with both the honor and the duty to build the best possible futures. Technology might be perceived by many as a threat, yet our job is to stimulate technology to ensure it becomes increasingly an extension of the human being, an optimization of mankind’s innate abilities. This desire for positive change, furthermore, melds perfectly with our B Corp philosophy: Humankind must be placed at the center, with its creativity, imagination, and passion. Only then will exponential technologies go down in history as having changed the course of mankind.”
