On November 28, 2018, Way2Global will be one of 100 Italian B corporations meeting up at the Opificio Golinelli of Bologna to provide further impetus to development of companies using Business as a Regenerative Force for society and the environment.
B Corps are the Best Companies for the World, that is, those that meet the highest global standards for positive impact and sustainability, and become legal entities known as Benefit Corporations. This is a global movement of companies, a push for a more evolved economic paradigm, capable of proving that the companies of the future are those that regenerate society and the environment.
Today, the growth of Italian B corporations is the highest recorded in Europe.
In addition to the B Corp executives, during the meeting, remarks will be made by economist Stefano Zamagni, director of B Lab Europa Nathan Gilbert, Maria Paola Chiesi, CSR director of Chiesi Farmaceutici and Massimo Mercati, DG di Aboca.
Way2Global will take part in the event, presenting its ideas for revolutionizing the concept of B2B: its own core business, which by definition breaks down language barriers and builds bridges between cultures, as a key to mutual benefit for the world, and for companies in general. The editorial project Made in B Italy seeks to embrace the experiences of Italian Benefit Corporations and share them with the world. The idea has been promoted by the Time to Be Bold contest from Benefit Blockchain, an innovative technology that creates a digital currency to allow a B Corp to exchange goods and services on a simple, secure platform, thereby promoting networking and the movement’s systematic impact.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the meeting will be open to the public as well, to get buy-in from all entrepreneurs, executives, and other interested stakeholders into the “For Benefit” phenomenon, and to share developments from within Italy and abroad. The goal: synergy, and an ever-greater positive ripple effect.
